The Cost of learning !
Quality
of instruction varies as much as the price! Choosing the wrong driving school because lessons are cheap will probably cost
you more in the long run.
Work out the cost of 30 lessons at £19.00 against that of 60 at £13.00.
Not only is it costing more but it will take twice as long to learn to drive !
If you are already learning
to drive but are not quite sure about the quality of tuition you are getting, ask yourself the following questions.
Does my instructor:
give an outline of the course?
arrive on time for lessons?
behave professionally?
help me study for the theory
test?
recap on previous lessons?
explain what we are going to do at the beginning of the lessons?
explain things to me in plain language?
explain again or demonstrate if I don't understand or get things
wrong?
assess my progress and provide me with feedback?
praise and encourage me when I get things right?
fill in progress records or logbooks for each lesson
encourage me to ask questions without feeling awkward?
show interest in my progress?
If you have answered yes to most of these questions you have found yourself
a good instructor. If you can't then you should discuss it with your instructor to try and find a remedy. If things don't
improve you would be better off changing instructors.
It's your money and your choice!
