Course Structure

Each course whether it is by the hour or intensive follows the recommended DSA Sylabus and is properly structured from start to finish, learning at your own pace, everyone is different, it's your drive and it's there to be enjoyed

Before you drive

  1. Getting to know your car
  2. Starting to drive
  3. Moving off, driving along and stopping
  4. Building confidence while you drive
  5. Manoeuvres
  6. Gaining experience and using common sense
  7. Anticipating problems and the actions of other road users
  8. Driving at higher speeds, simple mechanics
  9. The Driving Test

The 40 hr Course
This course is designed for those with no previous experience, and offers the complete course syllabus for learning to drive leading to test standard ( subject to learners progress as people learn at different speeds ). Hours can be arranged to suit but it is recommended that learning is spread over a minimum of 4 weeks.

The 30 hr Course
This course is recommended for those who have had some basic experience and is normally arranged over a 2 week period consisting of 3 hrs per day but can be taylored to suit the individual.

The 20 hr Course
This course is normally run over 5 days and is suitable for those learners who have achieved an intermediate standard of driving.

The 10 hr Course
This course is suitable for those who have tried a test but need a bit of a refresher for their next one and also for those who have had their licence suspended until they retake the test.

Thinking of Booking ?

  •  It is recommended that you take an assessment lesson for the instructor to advise you on what would be the most suitable course for you.
  • Have your theory  test certificate and license details to hand at assessment lesson 
  • If you decide an intensive course is then for you, a deposit  of £62 is required at or soon after time of booking to cover test fee, as we will aim to book your practical test at the time.
  • Balance to be paid on 1st day of course

We cannot be held responsible for any tests cancelled which are beyond our control

If your instructor considers that your driving has not reached the required standard by the day of test, we reserve the right to withold use of test vehicle on the grounds of safety and professional opinion. This is a very rare occurence as a good judgement of how many hours are required is normally reached on the assessment.
